I rather like this page, because for the longest time I was unsure how I wanted to deal with Leon. I had multiple creation stories for Leon and how he came to be, why he is the way he is, why he is after Skye, etc etc., but while I could never settle on the specifics, I always knew two things about him: he isn't suppose to exist, and the other you'll know in a few days. I also had never come up with a name for WHAT he was. In the end, though, using a weird "english to elvish translator" (Note the quotes), I threw in a pair of words and got out tar aezas. Put in an apostrophe for kicks and it gives me a term for what Leon is.
When I was working on the name, though, I ended up settling on his full origin (Since it was important to the name to determine what he was), something I'd been working on again and again since, oh, 2002? Y'know, long before the webcomic ever started and this was nothing more than a huge informational website.
Mmm, I don't have much else to add today. However, if you enjoy the comic, how about taking a moment to take a gander at some artwork for one of my other stories. I'd love to get feedback on... well, virtually anything regarding the character: http://fav.me/d2xln6n

New Layout

And after a... what, four month disappearance? Well whatever. After a long time since we last posted anything, we're back!
We had a few problems on our end, what between Cathy needing a boat load of time to draw herself more content for conventions (A lot of conventions are requiring a minimum amount of original art, she tells me) and my own working to try and cover bills. However, during the long absence we did a lot of things for the site!
First and foremost, a pretty new layout! I know it's way different from the old one, but I'm sure it'll grow on you. One of the main things for this layout was to make it easier to add new stuff to the site in the future.
Another thing we're doing is we'll be launching more comics! From here on, we'll be putting up two per week instead of our usual one. We'll be keeping Saturday as one of our update days, but we're adding in Tuesdays as well!
The first of the new comics will be going up on Saturday as normal as we wrap up the second chapter and begin the third one.
You'll also notice a load of stuff has disappeared from the site. All the old menu links we had are gone and likely won't be returning for a while, the old google ad we had in is gone too (Well, not entirely. I changed the ad type and put it only on certain pages), and there is a LOT more space now (Since we designed the new layout to work with wider layouts. Currently, it's designed for 1280x1024). We don't quite have everything made, but we will in time!
In the meantime, just sit back and enjoy the ride!
